Any Questions About Square Apart?

Here's some quick answers for you.

No, they will still fit perfectly when disassembled and reassembled, even with the square shape, triangle shape or hexagon shape.

It took us a great deal of time to engineer the QA system to ensure that the top and bottom parts can be swapped with different materials or new colors that will be released in the future.

However, please note that if the product is over-tightened beyond its end point, misalignment may occur. This is a common issue with any threaded structure, including yoyos, so we kindly ask that you handle the product with care.

No! We can assure you that all products from the Stand Apart series, including the Square Apart, are suitable for all 5A skill levels and playing styles.

So feel free to use it whether you are just starting to learn 5A or planning to compete.

Most CWs on the market just need one CNC step to make a CW, with an optional second step to square it off.

Square Apart is different — it's built from two separate parts, a top and a bottom half, each requiring its own CNC code, then a separate shape-cutting step.

The hardest part was making the threaded structure work perfectly in a square shape with zero misalignment, while still letting players swap halves with different materials or future colors.

That took months to get right.

The QA Lock System (Quoc Axis Lock System) is a high-precision, technical threaded interface for 5A CWs invented by Quoc Anh, with engineering support from Tony Sung — a top CAD engineer and one of the best yoyo players in the world, who helped bring the idea from sketch to reality.

It lets a single body accept two swappable halves, each in a different material or color, joined through a precision-threaded axis — so players can change weight distribution, blend colors, and adjust tug response without changing the shape or footprint of the CW.

ベアリング側がpcでもう片方がpomの組み合わせが僕は最も使いやすく感じました。
少し値段は高いですがその値段に見合う性能をしているいいウエイトです。

Nice weight and easy to setup compared to other counterweight that requires you to thread the string through a hole.

Definitely a must have for 5a players!

An excellent counterweight. Its large bearing helps reduce string tension. It also allows you to swap in a counterweight of the same shape but different weight to experience a different feel.

This weight was very innovative and increased the fun of 5A! Thanks to the shipment of disassembly that has never been seen before, the customizability has increased, and the ideal weight can be created. It is the easiest for me to use if you combine both the crisp feeling of the PC version and the heavy feeling of the POM version! There is a slight pain in the catch unique to the square shape, but thanks to the ease of use, I forget the pain!
